Statement on Ukraine. The Polish Studies Association condemns the Russian Federation’s unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, as well as the ensuing war crimes and the relentless disinformation seeking to justify the assault on Ukrainian sovereignty. We support efforts to hold the Russian Federation accountable for these atrocities. We stand with the people of Ukraine and with all those who oppose this unprovoked war.
The Polish Studies Association (PSA) was founded in 1986 as a network of scholars working on Polish topics. It is affiliated with the Association for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) and holds its annual membership meeting at the ASEEES convention. The association maintains the H-Poland listserv as well as sponsoring a prize for the best publications in the field and a research subvention for graduate students. Through H-Poland, we circulate book reviews and summaries of articles on Polish topics, announcements of forthcoming conferences and research projects, and other information useful to our membership.
